Accidental Damage Cover

Our accidental damage cover gives you peace of mind beyond the standard warranty. If your Snuggy Pod is accidentally damaged during normal use, we will sort it for you.

1. The plans

We offer two accidental damage cover plans:

  • 1 year cover at £40.00
  • 2 year cover at £45.00

Both plans provide the same level of cover. The only difference is the duration. Cover begins from your delivery date and runs for the period of the plan you purchased.

Cover must be purchased at the time of your original order. It cannot be added after your order has been placed.

2. What is covered

Your accidental damage cover protects the full Snuggy Pod product against sudden and unexpected accidental damage during normal use, including:

  • Torn or ripped canopy from catching on an object
  • Cracked or snapped poles from being knocked or dropped
  • Broken connectors or pole end sockets from accidental impact
  • Zipper failure caused by snagging
  • Any other accidental damage that is not the result of a manufacturing defect or the exclusions listed below

3. What is not covered

This plan does not cover:

  • Manufacturing defects, which are covered under your standard warranty
  • Damage caused by excessive or deliberate force
  • Damage resulting from not following the assembly or use instructions
  • Damage caused by continuing to use the product after a fault has been identified without contacting us first
  • Damage caused by pets
  • Damage caused by fire, flooding, or water
  • Loss or theft of the product
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Minor cosmetic issues such as loose threads that do not affect how the product functions
  • Damage that occurred before the cover plan was purchased
  • Any damage to items other than the Snuggy Pod itself

If you are not sure whether your situation is covered, please contact us before making a claim and we will be happy to advise.

4. How to make a claim

To make a claim, email us at help@snuggy.com with the following:

  • Your order number and proof of purchase
  • A clear description of how the damage occurred
  • Photos and a short video clearly showing the damage

Please report the damage within 30 days of it occurring. Claims submitted more than 30 days after the damage happened may not be accepted.

Our customer service team will review your claim and respond as soon as possible. We may ask for additional information before approving a claim.

5. What happens if your claim is approved

If your claim is approved, we will send you a replacement product or part. We do not require you to return the damaged item.

This plan covers a maximum of 3 approved replacement claims for the duration of your cover period. The following applies to each claim:

  • First claim — fully covered by us, no cost to you
  • Second claim — we cover the replacement, you pay a £4.99 postage contribution
  • Third claim — we cover the replacement, you pay a £4.99 postage contribution

Once 3 replacements have been issued, the plan is considered fulfilled and no further claims can be made.

6. Important terms

  • This plan applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable
  • This plan applies to products purchased directly from snuggy.com
  • This plan is valid for UK customers only
  • This plan cannot be renewed once it expires
  • This plan runs alongside and does not replace your standard 1 year warranty or your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

7. Your statutory rights

This accidental damage plan is a voluntary, paid-for service and is separate from your legal rights as a consumer. Nothing in this plan limits or affects your statutory rights under UK law.
